On July 22, 2014, I set off on a crazy, exciting journey: I was going to drive an electric car (a Renault ZOE) across the north of Spain (from Barcelona to Finisterre) for a production helmed by the amazing team at El Terrat.
We forged the idea and defined the challenge during the season finale of En El Aire (with Andreu Buenafuente): I would drive across the country without using a single drop of gas and had to stop at a bunch of picturesque locations to charge the car. No sooner said than done: we quickly started looking into how to film the road trip and how to air it later on the show. When we realized that it was doable, our mad idea turned into a project… and we hit the road!
